2021-1030-234 Avery Horlbeck

Saturday, October 30, 2021 between 7:00pm and 7:45pm, Avery Horlbeck was shot in his apartment. This incident occurred in the area of Spring Garden Street and Clifton Road at Block 43 Cottages. On 11/13/2021, Mr. Horlbeck died from his injuries sustained on October 30, 2021.

On October 30, 2021 at approximately 3:06am, Greensboro Police Officers responded to 606 Warren Street in reference to a shooting. Officers located two victims: Delorion Smith, 19 and Kwashawn Tyson, 20. Both died as a result of their injuries. This case is being investigated as a homicide.

On 10-23/2021 at approximately 9:24am, officers responded to 3709 West Avenue in reference to a Man lying in the road. Upon arrival, Mr. Malik Peterson was located suffering from a fatal gunshot wound. Mr. Peterson was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his wound. Malik’s death is being investigated as a homicide.

On 10/12/2021 at approximately 10:37pm, officers responded to 4234 Kildare Drive in reference to a shooting. Brendon Redfearn was located suffering from a gunshot wound. Mr. Redfearn was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injury on 10/18/2021. Brendon’s death is being investigated as a homicide.

On October 10, 2021, at 5:10 p.m. officers responded to a shooting at 1500 Barber Park Drive, Indoor Sports. Police located Isaac Lattimore who was suffering from a fatal gunshot wound. Isaac’s death is being investigated as a homicide.

On October 4, 2021, officers responded to a shooting at Extended Stay America at 4317 Big Tree Way. Police located Djimon Lucas who was suffering from a fatal gunshot wound. Djimon’s death is being investigated as a homicide.

On 09/19/2021 at approximately 2:34pm, officers responded to 699 Martin Luther King Jr./Julian Street in reference to a shooting. Ms. Keyoka Robinson was located suffering from a gunshot wounds and had been hit by a car. Ms. Robinson was transported to the hospital where she succumbed to her wounds. Ms. Robinson’s death is being investigated as a homicide.

Greensboro Police are seeking information regarding a shooting at 1921 West Gate City Blvd. that occurred at approximately 11:19pm on September 12, 2021 during the Greensboro Fair. Mr. Traveyon Hairston was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency personnel provided aid to Mr. Hairston but he succumbed from his wounds.

On May 17, 2021 at approximately 10:45pm, officers responded to a shooting at 2511 Cherbonne Drive. Trebien Womack was located suffering from a gunshot wound and later died at Moses Cone Hospital. Tre’s death is being investigated as a homicide.

On 03/12/2021 at approximately 8:48pm, officers responded to 1401 Rankin Road in reference to a shooting. Mr. Bruce Wilson was located suffering from a fatal gunshot wound. Mr. Wilson was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his wound. Bruce’s death is being investigated as a homicide.

On February 7, 2021 at approximately 3:05am, Greensboro Police Officers responded to 802 Dana Place in reference to a shooting. Officers located two victims: Reggie Washington, 28 and Mark Anthony Smith, 36. Both died as a result of their injuries. This case is being investigated as a homicide.
