2018-0804-029 Tiffiney Nicole Williams

Williams died later that day at Moses Cone Hospital. An autopsy was conducted at the State Medical Examiner’s Office. The pathologist concluded that the cause of her death was blunt force trauma and the manner of death ruled a homicide.
2018-0724-188 Michael Anthony Rollins

On 07/24/2018 at approximately 5:56pm, officers responded to 3712 West Avenue in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival officers located Michael Rollins, who was pronounced deceased at the scene. Michael’s death is being investigated as a homicide.

On 07/19/2018 at approximately 9:51pm, officers responded to 1016 Watkins Street in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival officers located Michael Potts, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Mr. Potts was later pronounced deceased at Moses Cone Hospital. Michael’s death is being investigated as a homicide.

On 07/01/2018 at approximately 12:37am, officers responded to 1700 Fairfax Road in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival officers located Dionte Bethea, who was pronounced deceased at the scene. Dionte’s death is being investigated as a homicide.
2018-0625-094 Darren Herbin

On 06/25/2018, at approximately 10:45am, Greensboro Police responded to the Freeman Mill Shopping Center in reference to a shooting. They located Mr. Herbin deceased in the roadway. Darren was walking across the parking lot just prior to the shooting. The suspects are believed to have fled on foot behind the shopping center.
2018-0616-169 Catlin Heath & Eric Johnson Jr.

On 06/16/2018 at approximately 7:25pm, officers responded to 3548 Farmington Drive in reference to unknown problem. Upon arrival officers located Catlin Heath and Eric Johnson Jr., with gunshot wounds and both were pronounced deceased at the scene. Catlin and Eric’s deaths are being investigated as a homicide.
2018-0502-176 Shaquanna Hudson & Jermaine Wilson

On Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at approximately 3:00pm, police responded to a call at 2101 Finley Street and discovered victims of a double homicide. Police identified the victims as, Shaquanna Hudson and Jermaine Wilson, both of which suffered fatal gunshot wounds. Shaquanna and Jermaine’s deaths are being investigated as a homicide.
2018-0421-001 Zyquarius Shalom Bradley

On 04/21/2018 at approximately 11:39pm, officers responded to 3306 Beck Street in reference to a gunshot. Upon arrival officers located Zyquarius Bradley, who was suffering from a gunshot wound and later succumbed to his wound. Zyquarius’ death is being investigated as a homicide.
2017-1201-003 Derek Brown & Sharease Haley

On November 30, 2017 at 11:15pm, Officers responded to a shooting at 1240 Woodbriar Avenue. The shooting occurred between 10:45pm and 11:15pm. Derek Brown and Sharease Haley had been fatally shot and later died from their injuries. Derek and Sharease’s deaths are being investigated as a homicide.

On 11/06/2017 at approximately 10:48pm, officers responded to 1701 Eastwood Avenue in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival officers located Stephen McKinney Jr., who was suffering from a gunshot wound. Mr. McKinney was transported to Moses Cone Hospital and later succumbed to his wound. Stephen’s death is being investigated as a homicide.

On 10/29/2017 at approximately 1:30am, officers responded to 836 Burbank Street in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival officers located Timothy Frierson, who was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Mr. Frierson was later pronounced deceased at Moses Cone Hospital. Timothy’s death is being investigated as a homicide.

On Sunday, October 8, 2017 at approximately 2:30am, officers responded to a shots fired call at 707 Milton St. John Cook, 22, was found suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to the hospital where he died from his injuries. Cook had been visiting with friends in apartment 2K when unidentified subjects attempted to enter. After they were denied entry, they kicked in the door. During the ensuing altercation, Cook was shot in the breezeway. John’s death is being investigated as a homicide.
2017-0919-019 Jacqueline Rene Thompson

On September 19, 2017, Ms. Thompson arrived at Cone Hospital with a gunshot wound. Ms. Thompson later died. Ms. Thompson’s death is being investigated as a homicide.
2017-0816-207 Tyquon Curry

On 08/17/2017 at approximately 7:35pm, officers responded to 3012 East Bessemer Street near Dockery Street in reference to an aggravated assault with a firearm. Upon arrival officers located Tyquon Curry, who was pronounced deceased. The two vehicles pictured above are believed to have been passing through the area at the time of the shooting and the occupants may be able to provide information to the case. The Greensboro Police Department is seeking information about the vehicles and/or the occupants(s). Tyquon’s death is being investigated as a homicide.

On 08/11/2017 at approximately 12:29am, officers responded to 401 Woodlake Drive in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival officers located Craig Bernard, who was pronounced deceased at the scene. Craig’s death is being investigated as a homicide.

On 08/01/2017 at approximately 12:36am, officers responded to intersection of 1149 Huffine Mill Road/Wooddale Lane in reference to a law enforcement assist call. Upon arrival officers located James Smith, who was pronounced deceased at the scene from a gunshot wound. James’ death is being investigated as a homicide.

Greensboro/Guilford Crime Stoppers will pay a cash reward of up to $5,000.00 for information leading to the arrest or indictment of the individual(s) responsible.
In addition to the Crime Stoppers Reward, NC Governor Roy Cooper issued a proclamation on January 12, 2023, announcing the State is offering a reward of Up to $25,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible. Total Reward is Up to $30,000. (The reward offered by the state is separate from the Crime Stoppers reward.)

On 04/27/2017 at approximately 9:22pm, officers responded to Moses Cone Hospital located at 1200 N. Elm Street in reference to a shooting victim. Upon arrival officers located Quahoun Trotter from Danville, VA who was pronounced deceased at the scene. Quahoun’s death is being investigated as a homicide.

On 03/20/2017 at approximately 8:42pm, officers responded to 2006 Niagara Street in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival officers located Rontaveon Porter, who was suffering from a gunshot wound. Mr. Porter was transported to the hospital, where was pronounced deceased. Rontaveon’s death is being investigated as a homicide.
