April 16, 2025

April 16, 2025) – Greensboro Police are continuing to search for the vehicle involved in a hit-and-run collision with a Guilford County Schools bus April 7 at approximately 3:42 p.m. at the intersection of Bridford Parkway and Hornaday Road.
The initial investigation determined that the bus was traveling south on Bridford Parkway, passed through the intersection of Hornaday Road with a green light for its direction, when a motor vehicle approaching from the north on Bridford Parkway, made an improper left turn across several lanes of Bridford Parkway and failed to yield to the bus where a collision occurred. The suspect vehicle then fled on Hornaday Road toward Guilford College Road.
Evidence suggests the suspect vehicle is a mid-1990s to early 2000s Mercedes-Benz E-Class, teal in color, with dark-tinted windows, tinted back windshield, sunroof, and gray stock wheel covers. The suspect vehicle should have damage consisting of a missing rear passenger side brake lens cover and rear bumper protective strip.
